'Tall Poppy Syndrome' is our first Belgian-style ale, brewed using pale and chocolate malts and Trappist ale yeast forming a well balance mocha bomb! Notes of chocolate, coffee, rasins, vanilla, and truffles form a wonderfully complex winter ale, ready to be 'chopped down' with immense satisfaction!
Black is the new Orange is a crafty twist on our new black lager. Brewed with a single Chocolate malt, and conditioned naturally for over 40 days in a single 300L tank to ensure the rich cocoa flavours meet the same clean, dry, finish of our signature lager Mont.
But we dind't stop there! Debuting at Craft Beer Rising in London this month, we ensured the 'don't to lager' folk were distracted with the addition of fresh Valencia oranges infused on the bar top by head boy Michael's home made 'Mountainator' (beer infusor).
It can only be described as a 'Liquid Jaffa Cake'! A complete mind-twist to the unitialited of 'black lagers'.
MONT Nude was originally brewed for our official launch at the Irish Craft Beer Festival in 2015, NUDE is a demonstration of what we can do with our flagship MONT beer if we let 'nature dress it'.
Brewed then 'lagered' (stored) naturally in our unjacketed 300L conditioning tanks for over 60 days, the 9-inch thick granite-walled brewery offers the ideal conditions (ambient 2C to 5C year round) to let nature clear & mature our lager - using zero carbon!
